Mormon Ranch on the Middle Fork north of Camas Creek was named for Mormon settlers who located there during the Thunder Mountain boom era. USFS cultural work notes a small garden documented before 1900, and RiverBrain describes early-1900s cabin remains and a former ferry operation at the site. Archival photographs in the University of Idaho collection also document graves associated with the ranch.
